SIMPLE PRESENT TENSE

 Formula simple present tense:

• Kalimat positif (affirmative form)

I, You, We, They	Play	Football.
He, She, It	Plays

*Remember, kata kerja (Verb) yang digunakan untuk orang ketiga tunggal (he, she, it) selalu ditambahkan "s" diakhir kata kerjanya (verb).

Examples:

- Nancy and James speak good German.

- Nancy works in a restaurant downtown. 

• Kalimat tanya (interrogative form)

Do	I, You, We, They	Play	Football?.
Does	He, She, It

Examples:

- Do you speak good German?

- Does Nancy work in restaurant downtown?

• Kalimat negative (negative form)

>> Kegunaan simple present tense:

1. Untuk memberikan pendapat : I like ice cream, i don't like spicy food
2. Untuk membicarakan tentang jadwal : The library opens at 8. It doesn't open at 7
3. Untuk menyatakan perbuatan sehari-hari (habitual activity) : Sara eats cheese for breakfast every day. She doesn't eat sereal.
4. Untuk menyatakan kebenaran : The earth circles the sun. The moon doesn't circle the sun

Materi English Song Kelas 8: History- One Direction

Hello siswa siswi ku dan pengunjung blog yang tercinta, kali ini kita akan berbagi materi kelas 8 chapter terakhir tentunya semester II. Ya, di penghujung materi kelas VIII ini kita disuguhkan dengan English songs for teenagers. Ketika kita membuka buku When English Rings Bells kelas 8, kita akan menjumpai adanya lirik lagu, sebuah lagi dari One Direction. Judul lagunya adalah Hostory.

Lagu ini diliris pada tahun 2015 bergenre POP. Ada 5 personil yakni Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, Liam Payne, dan Zayn Malik. Lagu tersebut berisi tentang “friendship” atau persahahabatan/pertemanan. Secara universal lagu tersebut untuk siapapun di seluruh dunia. Namun secara kontekstual persahabatan dalam lagu itu tentang persahabatan di antara personil grup One Direction tersebut. Dalam lagu tersebut diceritakan pentingnya pertemanan yang dijalin yang dilandasi kesetiaan, kebersamaan, melewati hidup yang penuh dengan tantangan dan lika-likunya. Bahwa persahabatan akan terus berlangsung sampai akhir hayat. Pesan lagu (message of the song) adalah betapa pentingnya memiliki sahabat atau teman dalam suka dan duka yang bisa diandalkan untuk saling membantu dan bekerja sama menjadi tim yang solid. Lagu tersebut secara umum/universal berlaku bagai siapa saja sesama manusia makhluk ciptaan Tuhan Yang Maha Esa.
